In order to prepare you for your upcoming appointment with Dr. Shelby, we have implemented some new protocols for your safety:
- Please fill in the COVID-19 Questionnaire 24-hours prior to your appointment and bring it with you. (we need to upload this form online)
- Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and remain in your vehicle or outside the building until further direction is given. For your safety, please ensure that no one is in the waiting room upon entry to building. Once the waiting room clears, you may receive a call from Lawrence Periodontics (785-841-1188). In the event that you do not have a cell phone, please come to the front door 15 minutes before your appointment time and our office manager will grant permission of entry or update you on an entry time. In order to reduce the number of people in the office, we would appreciate you coming to your appointment alone unless you require assistance.
- When you arrive and enter the building, you will be greeted by Ms. Jill Hoover. They will direct you to the hand sanitizer and ensure that you are wearing a mask. Masks will be available if you do not have your own. Jill will take your temperature via infrared thermometer, and collect your COVID-19 Questionnaire. If you do not have your sheet, you will be prompted to fill one out in our waiting room.
- If you need to use the restroom, please do so before your appointment.
- In the event that if you are late for your appointed time, please contact our office as soon as possible. Due to the limitations of physical distancing guidelines, this may result in having your appointment rescheduled.
- All office staff has undergone Covid-19 2-stage vaccination.
COVID-19 considerations:
We are an all-mask dental building. Our clinical staff are equipped with approved KN95 and M95 facemask, face shields, and gowns All operatories are HOCL fogged following each procedure to aid in viral disinfection.
